Mahinga Kai Enhancement Project – Watercress Restoration Wānanga

This project focuses on revitalising a traditional mahinga kai site, including riparian management and translocation planting of watercress to site and aquaponics. The project will be delivered with a mātauranga Māori focus, and Western knowledge, and will provide Raukawa marae, hapū and uri capacity building opportunities through wānanga with cultural and technical experts.
