Raukawa uri gathered on Saturday morning, 10 December at the South Waikato Sports and Event Centre for the Raukawa Settlement Trust (RST) Annual General Meeting (AGM).

The AGM provides a chance for uri to hear about the mahi of the RSTand its subsidiaries during the 2015/16 Financial Year. Key to this were the presentations from Raukawa Iwi Development Limited (RIDL), and all Raukawa Charitable Trust Business Group Managers. This allowed each group to  highlight their many successes this year, and their plans moving forward.

The AGM capped off a highly successful 2015/16 according to RST Chair Vanessa Eparaima.

“Raukawa has seen RIDL return its largest operating profit; we have paid out over $500,000 in grants to marae and uri. While Pūtake Taiao has played an instrumental role in moving Healthy Rivers Wai Ora forward, and Tīwai Hauora has seen an expansion in the size and number of its contracts.”
